The Friends of the Watts Memorial was established in 2015 with the primary aims of protecting, preserving and promoting the Watts Memorial to Heroic Self-Sacrifice in Postman’s Park London and, ultimately, to work towards completing it in full as its creator, the artist G. F. Watts, originally intended.
The Friends is a not-for-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers and governed by a constitution. The main activities of the Friends are:
The activities and day-to-day administration of the Friends is undertaken by a management committee which meets at least four times per year. An Annual Lecture and General Meeting is held once a year in September and Friends are invited to attend.
